19 July 2019 – The pioneering resilience initiative, Resilient Barangay Program, will be officially launch this August 2019. The Technical Working Group (TWG) convened today to discuss how to come up with a bottom-up, multi-stakeholder, science-informed and socially-inclusive resilience planning for the 9 barangays of the City of Muntinlupa.
The Technical Working Group is led by Mr. Erwin Alfonso from the City Government of Muntinlupa. In attendance today are representatives from CCARPH Project led by Dr. Emma Porio, Manila Observatory scientists Dr. Celine Vicente and Dr. Laurice Jamero, NRC led by Ms. Malu Erni, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa led by Dr. Ellen Presnedi, City DRRM Office led by Mr. Erwin Alfonso, DILG-Muntinlupa represented by Mr. Sly Barrameda and City Planning Office led by Mr. Jose David Adriano.
