Dr. Emma Porio, Project Leader and Principal Investigator of CCARPH, and Professor with the Ateneo de Manila University, is one of the panelists for the National Academy of Science and Technology’s #PilipiNAST Virtual Kapehan, held on the 6th of July, 2022. This event stands as a “series of online dialogue between NAST PHL and the press, media, and science communicators to introduce the programs, activities, awardees, and members of the Academy as well as timely issues faced by the country”.
Providing the Welcome Remarks is Dr. Fabian Dayrit, Vice-President of NAST PHL, and one of CCARPH’s Project Advisers. The National Academy for Science and Technology is an attached agency to the Department of Science and Technology designated by law (Executive Order 818 s. 1982) to serve as an adviser to the President of the Republic of the Philippines and the Cabinet on policies concerning science and technology.
