Coastal Cities at Risk in the Philippines (CCARPH) attended the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing between the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the National Resilience Council (NRC), as the Scientific and Academic Partner of the NRC.
Rolando Joselito Delizo Bautista, DSWD secretary, and Ms. Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga, NRC President and one of the three Principle Investigators of CCARPH signed this MOA, making CCARPH one of the academic partners of the DSWD as well.
The MOA signing between DSWD, NRC and its partners was attended by Austere Panadero, one of the CCARPH Council of Advisers, a former Undersecretary for the Department of the Interior and Local Government, and current president of the Zuellig Foundation. Admiral Alexander P. Pamam, former Executive Director of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council and Administrator, Office of Civil Defense, was also in attendance.
